Plot
A scientist who specializes in synthetic biology attempts to bring back his family members after they die in a car accident, and comes in to conflict with the leaders and staff of a government-controlled laboratory, law enforcement agencies, and the known limits of physical science.Cast

Production
Riverstone Pictures and Remstar Studios signed on to co-finance the film, which would be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Stephen Hamel, sharing producing duties with Keanu Reeves, Mark Gao, and Luis A. Riefkohl.[4] Executive producers include James Dodson, Clark Peterson, Maxime Remillard, Bill Johnson, Jim Seibel, Nik Bower, Erik Howsan, Walter Josten, Ara Keshishian, Deepak Noyar.Principal photography on the film began on August 10, 2016, in Puerto Rico.[6]
Release
The film was sold after a private screening at the Toronto International Film Festival to Entertainment Studios for $4 million.[7] It is scheduled to be released on January 11, 2019.[8]Box office
In the United States and Canada, Replicas will be released alongside The Upside and A Dog's Way Home, and is projected to gross $4–7 million in its opening weekend.[9]References
